Be Sticky. Be Sweet. Be Seen.
Sticky Sweet Bears was founded by husbands Edwin and Jason with the belief that clothing should help people feel more like themselves, not less.
Like a lot of people, we spent years shopping for clothes that technically fit, but never really felt like us. Everything seemed designed for a very narrow version of fashion, body type, masculinity, or queer identity. The options were either overly basic, strangely impersonal, or made without any real understanding of the people actually wearing them. We wanted clothing that felt joyful, expressive, comfortable, confident, and connected to the lives we were already living.
What started as a search for better clothing slowly became something bigger.
We began designing pieces inspired by the moments and places that have shaped so much of our lives and relationships within the LGBTQIA+ community: Pride weekends, Provincetown summers, cruises, drag shows, dance floors, beach vacations, late-night food runs after the club, chosen family dinners, pool parties, community fundraisers, and all the little moments in between where people finally feel comfortable enough to fully be themselves.
Those experiences became the emotional foundation of Sticky Sweet Bears.
More Than a Clothing Brand
We wanted to build a brand that captured that feeling of confidence that happens when you walk into a room wearing something that genuinely feels like you. Not a costume. Not something designed to hide your body. Not something made to make you smaller. Just clothing that allows people to feel visible, attractive, playful, relaxed, and fully part of the moment.
That perspective shapes every part of the brand. Our prints are intentionally expressive. Our collections are built around moods, destinations, and experiences instead of just product categories. Our campaigns focus on real people and real bodies because we know how powerful it can be to finally see yourself represented in fashion without being treated like an exception.
For us, representation has never been about checking a box. It comes from lived experience. As two people who understand what it feels like to struggle finding clothing that feels affirming, especially for bigger bodies and people who exist outside traditional fashion standards, we wanted Sticky Sweet Bears to create a different emotional experience. One rooted in warmth, confidence, visibility, humor, and community instead of insecurity.
What Makes Sticky Sweet Bears Different
Community itself is deeply important to us because this brand did not appear out of nowhere. Sticky Sweet Bears grew through real-world connection — through Pride organizations, nightlife spaces, entertainers, local events, cruises, drag performers, fundraisers, and the people who supported us long before we ever had a polished website or full collection launches. That support shaped this brand just as much as any design ever could.
At its core, Sticky Sweet Bears is about helping people feel good in the body they have right now. Fashion has spent decades teaching people to wait until they become a different version of themselves before they deserve visibility, confidence, attention, or joy. We do not believe that. We believe people deserve to take up space, wear bold prints, be in the photo, go to the party, flirt, travel, celebrate, and feel seen exactly as they are.
That belief is stitched into everything we create.
Welcome to Sticky Sweet Bears
Whether you found us through Pride, Provincetown, social media, nightlife, community events, cruises, or a random late-night scroll, we are genuinely glad you are here. We hope Sticky Sweet Bears feels like more than just a store. We hope it feels like a brand created by people who understand the culture, the humor, the emotions, and the experiences that make this community so special in the first place.
Love, Edwin & Jason
