Bear Quake San Diego: Community Giving Through Celebration

BearQuake grew out of a simple but powerful idea: bringing bear communities together — across clubs, cities, and regions — to connect, socialize, and build lasting relationships. What began as a planned “Bear Weekend” quickly evolved into an annual gathering that many now know as BearQuake.

In October 2025, Sticky Sweet Bears was honored to be part of that tradition.

What BearQuake Is Really About

At its core, BearQuake is about people. It’s a weekend designed to be fun, accessible, and welcoming — full of social events, shared experiences, and opportunities to make new friends while reconnecting with familiar faces.

The concept has remained consistent over the years:
a full slate of activities, a price point that makes participation worthwhile, and space for community to form naturally.

BearQuake has also grown into a meaningful fundraising weekend for its host organization, helping sustain the work that makes these connections possible year after year.

Our Contribution

As part of the weekend, Sticky Sweet Bears donated a Match Check’d Side Tease Mid Thigh Short and a matching Button Down Shirt to the BearQuake raffle.

It was our way of contributing something tangible — a piece of the joy, camp, and self-expression that defines both BearQuake and our brand — while supporting the broader fundraising efforts of the weekend.

Why This Weekend Matters to Us

BearQuake isn’t about spectacle or scale. It’s about alliance, familiarity, and the quiet power of showing up together. It’s about the conversations that happen between events, the laughter shared with strangers who quickly become friends, and the memories people carry home with them.
